BRIAN ORLICK

Brian joined the Foundation Fund Board as an Officer in 2017, and is a life member of the Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society serving as a Board of Directors Adjunct. He is originally from Staten Island, New York and became a resident of Green Dolphin Park Villas and Commons, Tarpon Springs, in 2010, where he currently serves on The Association Board as Treasurer.
Prior to moving to Tarpon Springs Brian was with The Bank of New York, Wall Street, for 30 years as an Assistant Vice President monitoring and maintaining cash flow between high value clients, both foreign and domestic.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Music from The City University of New York as well as studied at The Met with vocal coach George Shirley, the Artist-in-Residence.
Brian is currently a vocal coach and Soloist for a local Tarpon Springs Church.
He performed in the premiere of Galt McDermott’s (composer of the Broadway Musical, “Hair”) Mass in F which was recorded of The Cathedral of St. John The Divine in Manhattan.
While in Staten Island he was a Director of Church Music, serving as Organist and Choir Director for approximately 30 years for several churches and many different religions. While at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Historic Richmondtown, Staten Island, besides being the Organist and Choir Director he was able to form and direct an ensemble of 10 instruments as they enhanced the weekly service music. He was a soloist for many churches and synagogues. Brian held rehearsals and directed the Faure Requiem for the tenth anniversary of 9/11, a musical offering by the Staten Island Choral Community.
As a member of The Richmond Choral Society he performed as a soloist on several occasions and worked closely with Alice Parker, and John Daly Goodwin who was the Choral Director of The New York Choral Society at Carnegie Hall.
